1. Launch of Voter Junction Program:
The Election Commission launched a 1-year long voter awareness program 'Voter Junction' on All India Radio on 3rd October 2022. It will have 52 episodes of 15 minutes duration every Friday on the primary channels of Vividh Bharati stations, FM Rainbow, FM Gold and AIR.
Voter Junction program will be telecast in 23 languages across the country.
The program was launched at Akashvani Rang Bhawan, New Delhi. Each program will be based on a particular theme of the electoral process.
2. Launch of YUVA 2.0 Scheme:
Pradhan Mantri Yojana YUVA 2.0 was launched on 2 October 2019 to guide young writers.
It aims to promote reading, writing and book culture in the country.
It has been launched considering the significant impact of the first edition of YUVA in 22 different Indian languages and English with massive participation of YUVA and budding writers.
YUVA 2.0 (Young, Emerging and Versatile Writer) is in line with the Prime Minister's vision to encourage youth to understand and appreciate India's democracy.
This will help develop a stream of writers who can write on a spectrum of subjects to promote Indian heritage, culture and knowledge system.
3. Fit India Freedom Run 3.0 Launch:
Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju and Anurag Singh Thakur launched Fit India Freedom on 2 October 2022.
It was inaugurated on Gandhi Jayanti at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium (New Delhi). It was launched jointly with Fit India Plug, run by Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju and Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur.
This time the race lasted till 31 October.
The first edition of 'Fit India Freedom Run' was held from 15 August to 2 October 2020.
The objective of 'Fit India Freedom Run' is to encourage people to adopt fitness activities like running and sports in daily life and get rid of obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety and diseases.
4. Inauguration of Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off a new and improved version of Vande Bharat Express on 30 September 2022.
This new Vande Bharat is operating between Gandhinagar Capital and Mumbai Central.
Vande Bharat Express can achieve a maximum speed of 160 kmph.
It aims to provide a new travel experience to the travelers.
This train will run 6 days a week except Sunday.
5. Conservation Portal Launched by Govt. of India:
The Union Ministry of Food Processing Industries launched a conservation portal on 21 September 2022.
The portal has been jointly launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and the Ministry of Food Processing Industries.

This first is going to add a new chapter in the life of micro units engaged in food processing. It aims to promote the concept of 'Vocal for Local'.
