In this, replace the location given in the box with C:\Windows\INF and there click on 'Let me peak from a list of available drivers on my computer' section given below.. You can understand with the help of the picture given below:
Now in the window that will open, double click on 'Android Device'.
On doing this a new window will open in which you have to select 'MTP USB Device' and click on 'Next' button. You can understand it from the picture below:
On clicking the 'Next' button, that driver will be installed and updated in 4 to 5 seconds, then close that window.
And you will see that your Android device is successfully connected to your laptop or PC. You can also view your Android device and transfer files in 'This PC'.
Sometimes you can transfer files only after enabling USB file transfer by going to the settings of some Android devices.
