Functions of Proteins and its Essentials

Healthy is as important for our body as breathing. It is often said that the absence of the disease is the best sign. But the question arises what does the organism do, which causes diseases or what should we do so that no disease can happen even if the disease is ever there, then we should read less effect on us.

For this, it is necessary that regular life, proper food, regular exercise, work at work and rest of the rest, stay away from stress, endure life problems, faced with valor and courage, honesty, resentment, and control over emotions. Therefore, it is your duty to keep the right information about protein for proper food.

The origin of the word "Protein" is believed to be from "Prathamin" which means- first or first in importance.

Protein is of great importance in the construction of our body, the reason being that by providing nutrition to the flesh, blood, and brain, helps in their functioning. Protein itself provides strength to our body and it is present in our body in large quantities, that is, its quantity in the blood is sufficient.

Protein rich foods

Pregnant women, infants, adolescents, and people who work hard should consume large amounts of protein. Newborns get their proteins from either their mother's or this type of milk. Therefore, women who are pregnant and those who have given birth to children should take protein in more quantity so that both mother and child can be nourished.

For the physical and mental development of children, protein should be given in sufficient quantity in the food so that their muscles can develop properly. In order to digest proteins, it is very important for the digestive organs to be strong and functioning properly. By the way, the need for protein remains till 35 to 40 years. After that age, due to the weakening of the digestive power, there is difficulty in digestion of protein-borne substances. Therefore, protein is essential during infancy, puberty, and middle age.

The use of protein is very important for the physical development of developing children, and their mental consciousness and efficiency, otherwise, in the absence of this nutritious element, the child's growth (physically and mentally) will stop and the muscles will become weak.

Protein generates disease-fighting power in our body, but its lack reduces the ability to take oxygen in the body, due to which harmful microbes enter our body easily and make diseases in the body. If more protein is used than required, then the protein that remains after the supply of the required protein in the body gets converted into fat, whenever the body needs fat and also there is a lack of heat in the body. If so, fat fills it up.

Main Sources of Protein

Protein is mainly found in vegetables and cereals, pulses, milk, butter, desi ghee, cheese, etc. Protein is not found in ghee, honey, oil, sugar, etc. Protein is found in abundance in wheat, gram, and gram lentils, soybean, all other pulses, curd, milk, cheese, whey, almonds, and other dry fruits. Proteins of this category are of good quality and are easily digestible. Its amount is even more in non-vegetarian food items. Still, it is not high-quality protein, because the amount of fat is high along with the protein obtained from meat, which helps in increasing cholesterol.

Remember that the protein obtained in milk, cheese, and other milk products is A quality protein, as it is the most quickly digested. Conversely, the sources of vegetable protein are rice, gram, wheat, soybean, urad, tur and other pulses, beans, peas, green leafy vegetables, and evidenced proteins are of B class, as its digestible protein is comparable to A class protein takes more time.

The required amount of protein for good health

Give protein to children on the basis of age in their developmental stage. Earlier food tables had separate recommendations for different nutrients for men and women (the ones who worked harder). We do not believe in this false and baseless belief because women are neither less nor far behind men in their daily work and hard work. The problem is not gender, the solution to the problem depends on energy, labor, and work method and should be the same.

Another thing is that the woman has to do the household chores, and the upbringing of the children - this is more applicable to the working class and the lower middle class. How much energy do you produce in the body, how much do you expend, and whether or not the remaining energy is sufficient to perform your outstanding functions properly, on the basis of which the amount of protein and other nutrients and the average is determined. The amount of protein for developing children should be age-wise in such a way that this is only an average normal norm, however, the expected weight of the quantity will depend on the requirement of the child's body.
